Turbo Tournaments FAQ
What Are Turbo Tournaments?
What are Turbo Tournaments (formerly Power Tournaments)?
Turbo Tournaments are Gamercraft's fast-paced tournament format that lets you compete using games you've already played. Instead of playing new matches specifically for a tournament, your recent performances automatically qualify you for entry into quick-turnaround tournaments.
How is this different from Standard Ladders?
Turbo Tournaments:
-
You use games you've already played
-
No need to play new matches after entry
-
Select from your best recent performances
Which games support Turbo Tournaments?
Currently, Turbo Tournaments are exclusive to League of Legends, with expansion planned for additional games in the future.
Game Eligibility & Lifecycle
How long are my games eligible for tournaments?
You can use games played in the last 7 days.
Why do games expire after 7 days?
The 7-day total lifespan ensures competitive integrity and encourages regular play. Expired games cannot be revived or extended.
Tournament Entry Rules
Can I use the same game multiple times?
No. Each game can only be used once. Once you submit a game, you cannot withdraw it.
What are the minimum requirements to enter?
-
Minimum GCS: ≥ 50 (Gamercraft Score)
-
Game Mode: Ranked Solo/Duo only (for League of Legends)
Anti-Gaming & Fair Play
How does Gamercraft prevent gaming the system?
Several measures are in place:
-
Minimum Performance Threshold: Games must score above 25th percentile
-
Smurf Detection: Unusual performance patterns flag games for review
-
Skill Consistency Monitoring: Large performance variations trigger verification
-
Single Use Only: Each game can only be used once (no resubmissions)
-
No Take-Backs: Once submitted, games cannot be withdrawn
Prize Structure & Payouts
How do prizes work in Turbo Tournaments?
Turbo Tournaments use a Standard Prize Pool Format:
-
Fixed or Jackpot prizes with distribution based on final ladder placement
-
Rewards scale with placement: Top performers receive larger payouts
