Initial Setup & Onboarding Info

  • Joining the Discord Server:

    • If not already a member, join the official Gamercraft Discord server.

    • Competitors will also be invite to join our Backing Tournaments Dedicated Gamercraft Discord server, being in this server is mandatory, since all tournament operations and informations will be communicated through there.

  • Tournament Announcements:

    • Stay updated on tournament announcements and important information shared on Discord so you don’t miss your chance to compete.

Legal Docs and Agreements

  • Contract Signing:

    • Review and sign any contracts provided by Gamercraft to be able to participate in backing tournaments.
  • Terms of Service:

    • Ensure familiarity with and adherence to Gamercraft’s Terms of Service.
  • Privacy Policy:

    • Understand the handling of your data as outlined in the Privacy Policy.

Requirements

  • System Requirements:

    • Verify that your gaming setup meets the minimum system requirements to be able to stream and play the corresponding game simultaneously.
  • Technical Checks:

    • Ensure your equipment, including microphone and camera, is in working order.
  • Internet Connection:

    • Make sure you are able to keep an stable and reliable internet connection during tournaments.

Fair Play Commitment

  • Integrity First:

    • Competitors are expected to play fairly, uphold high integrity standards, and comply with anti-cheating policies.
  • Compliance with ESIC:

    • We follow the Esports Integrity Commission's guidelines strictly.
  • Fair Play Agreement:

    • Commit to fair play and ethical conduct during all tournament activities.
  • Anti-Cheating Measures:

    • Understand and comply with Gamercraft’s anti-cheating policies. These include but are not limited to:

      • Accessing Services in an unauthorized manner (including using modified or unofficial third party software);

      • Playing with multiple accounts for the same Service;

      • Sharing accounts;

      • Smurfing;

      • Win-trading;

      • Match fixing

      • Elo-sitting with a clear intent to misrepresent skills;

      • Using any techniques to alter or falsify a device’s location (for example through GPS spoofing); and/or

      • Selling or trading accounts.

      • Breaking the rules and codes of the supported games.

  • Misconduct Reporting:

    • Report any instances of unfair play or misconduct promptly through designated channels to the admins and support agents.
  • Accountability:

    • Breaking the rules can lead to disqualification, reporting to ESIC, and potential legal action if the infraction causes financial or reputational harm to Gamercraft.

How the Schedule and Slots Work

  • Slot Availability:

    • The schedule will be sent to the competitors through the dedicated Discord server for players to start filling the Slots.

    • Tournament slots are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

    • Competitors can choose a maximum of 3 tournaments per week.

      • This limit can be increased if the weekly chart isn’t filled before the expected deadlines.
  • Number of Participants:

    • Make sure to check the number of participants available for each tournament, if a tournament is 1v1, then it will only be available for 2 players to sign-up for it.
  • Locking in Tournament Choices:

    • Once you select your tournaments and they get locked into the weekly chart, you are committed to participating.

    • Leaving a tournament before it starts may result in punishments, subject to case-by-case analysis.

  • Timely Confirmation:

    • Confirm your participation promptly to secure your slot in the selected tournaments.

How the Tournaments Work

  • Check-In Process:

    • Competitors must check in with an admin in the corresponding tournament-specific chat on our dedicated Discord server.

    • Check-in window is between 20 and 5 minutes before the tournament's start time.

  • Timely Check-In:

    • If a player is missing, the tournament's start time is delayed by 20 minutes.

    • Competitors have until the new start time to check in; otherwise, the tournament is cancelled, and backings are refunded.

  • Check-In Requirements:

    • Competitors must be present in the chat and have their live stream with webcam turned on during check-in.

    • If the stream or the webcam are missing, the tournament is delayed by 20 minutes to give time for the competitors to fix any technical issues. If those issues aren’t solved until the new start time, the tournament is cancelled and backings are refunded.

  • Tournament Format:

    • Competitors should be familiar with the tournament format, but our admin team will provide reminders if needed.
  • Anti-Cheating Measures:

    • Admins will actively watch livestreams to catch any form of cheating and moderate the chats during the tournament.
  • Admin Decisions:

    • In the event that admin intervention is required, their decisions are final and must be respected by both competitors and backers.

How the Payments Work

  • Compensation Method:

    • Competitors are paid either a fixed fee per match/tournament or a percentage of the backing fees collected. Here's how your compensation might look:

      • Fixed Payment: You receive a guaranteed $20 payment for each tournament you play and $30 for each tournament you win.
  • Payment Delivery:

    • Earnings are immediately credited to your Gamercraft Wallet after the tournament, ready for withdrawal as per our platform's guidelines.
  • Compensation Adjustment:

    • Payments can increase based on your performance. However, failing to meet participation expectations may affect compensation.

Anti Match Fixing

  • Integrity Commitment:

    • Competitors will pledge to maintain the integrity of matches throughout the tournament through the initial contract sent by Gamercraft.
  • Reporting Suspicious Activity:

    • Report any potential match-fixing promptly through designated channels to our admin team.
  • Gamercraft Investigation:

    • Trust in Gamercraft’s commitment to thoroughly investigate reported cases for fair play.
