General Information:
- What are Backing Tournaments?
Backing Tournaments are competitive skill-based events within the Gamercraft platform where users can support their favorite players and share their victories.
-
What is Backing?
- Backing on Gamercraft allows you to support players during a backing Tournament and earn rewards if they emerge victorious.
-
How Backing Returns Work
- It’s a very simple and transparent system. All players start with equal odds. As more Backings are placed on a player, returns decrease. Returns can fluctuate based on total Backings for each player as backers have full control.
-
Placing Your Backings
- Once you back a player, your returns lock in at the event start. Be aware: backing is irreversible, and returns are not final until the event begins.
-
Minimum Payout
- The minimum payout is 120%. If a player's returns drop to this, they are marked as "Sold Out." Sold Out players cannot receive more backings unless reopened.
-
Backing Process
- To back a player or team, log in to Gamercraft, navigate to the "Back" section, browse upcoming matches in the "Discover" section, select a match, and choose a player or team to back. Enter the amount you wish to contribute and confirm your back.
-
Refunds and Edits
- Unfortunately, backing slips cannot be edited or refunded due to live returns affecting overall payouts.
-
Payment Timing
- Winnings are paid out immediately after match finalization.
-
Watching the Games
- View matches on the back tab or your favorite competitor’s Twitch. Find competitor's Twitch channels on their tournament page.
-
Backing Consultation Requests
- Exercise discretion when others recommend backings. Refunds aren't issued if you follow someone else's advice.
-
How Can I Provide Feedback or Suggestions for Improving the Backing Experience?
- Your feedback is valuable! Reach out to our support or Discord channels to share suggestions or report any issues you encounter during your Backing experience.
-
